Gail Davis Padgett

Gail Davis Padgett, 74 of Worth County, died Sunday February 5, 2017 at her residence.

Her memorial service will be Thursday 6:30 PM at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Bud Womack will officiate.

A native of Savannah Mrs. Padgett lived in the Worth County area most of her life. She was a retired bookkeeper with First State Bank.

She was preceded in death by her husband Dwight Padgett and mother Jewell Connell.

Survivors include her children, Marsha Churchwell, Sylvester, Mark Padgett, Sylvester, Monica Wade (Jim), Americus, Michael Padgett (Lindsey), Leesburg; grandchildren, Heather Padgett (Keitha), Columbus, Cannon and Harper Jayne Padgett, both of Leesburg; father Arthur Connell; Albany, brother, Johnny Davis Albany, several nieces, nephews and lifelong friends Faye Fender and Frieda Edwards.

The family will receive friends Thursday 5 to 6:30 PM at Mathews Funeral Home
