Friedson Lee Odom

Friedson "Frick" Lee Odom, 88, of Leesburg, GA, died Friday, August 16, 2013 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, August 19, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Charlie Brown and Rev. Kevin Clotfelter will officiate and Sylvia Spraggins will interpret. Interment will follow in Red Oak Cemetery, Worth Co., GA.

A native of Worth Co., GA, Mr. Odom had resided in Lee Co. most all of his life. He was retired from Albany Lincoln Mercury after sixty five years of service. He was an avid hunter, a member of the Albany Men's Bowling Scratch League and a member of Byne Memorial Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Gennell (Nell) Spivey Odom, Leesburg, GA, a daughter, Debbie Odom Hajek (Phillip), Albany, GA, two sons, James Don Odom (Susan) and Eddie Scott Odom ( Donna) all of Leesburg, GA, a sister, Carolee Smith, Atlanta, GA, four grandchildren, Summer Lorraine Odom, Abby Laine Odom, Morgan Scott Odom, Taylor Lee Deen, three great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.
