Fred Roule Reynolds, 83, of Albany, GA, died August 13, 2024 at The Oaks at Oakland Plantation. Graveside funeral services will be held Monday, August 19, 2024 at 12:30 PST at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Covina, CA.
Fred was born in San Bernardino, CA on September 2, 1940 to the late Clarence and Mary Reynolds. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Edelmira G. Reynolds "Del". He was a member of St. Teresa’s Catholic Church, The Knights of Columbus and was a resident and member of Stonebridge Golf and Country Club.
Fred had a full and wonderful life with Del. He spent four years in the United States Navy, as a Machinist Mate and was discharged 22 August 1963. He then went to work for the Santa Fe Railroad in Barstow CA, before beginning his career with the Federal Government in 1972. He faithfully served for 33 years, providing logistics support to the U.S. Marine Corp, Navy and Army working abroad in the Philippine Islands, Diego Garcia-British Indian Ocean Territory, and Germany. Fred retired from Federal Service in 2005 at Marine Corps Base, Albany GA. Fred continued to serve in Albany as a contractor until his final retirement in 2015.
Fred never knew a stranger and was cherished by his family, friends and co-workers. His survivors include his children, Greg Reynolds of Albany GA, Curt Reynolds of Irvine CA and Fred Reynolds of Wildomar CA; and his amazing grandchildren, Ty Reynolds, Tori Reynolds, Jake Reynolds, and Raquel Reynolds of Irvine CA; and Thirza Reynolds and Zoe Reynolds of Wildomar CA.
