Frank S. Tedesco, 77, of Albany, GA, died Sunday, October 26, 2014 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Crown Hill Cemetery with military honors. Rev. Bobby Moye will officiate.
Born in Kingston, New York, Mr. Tedesco had resided in Albany, GA for the past forty years and retired with twenty years from the Navy and was retired with eighteen years from MCLB. Mr. Tedesco loved to build model airplanes, he was a NASCAR fan and an avid reader of spy series novels. He was a member of The Loyal Order of Moose, Life time member of the VFW # 2785 and the American Legion Post # 30. He was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include his wife of thirty two years, Catherine B. Tedesco, Albany, GA, a son, Sal M. Tedesco (Frances), a daughter, Sandra T. Nutt both of Albany, GA, two step-daughters, Beverly Williamson (Curtis), Albany, GA, Sharon Bonner (Joseph Snider), Leesburg, GA, a step-son, Robert Ivy, Phoenix, AZ, twelve grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.
