Frank G. Felmet, Jr., 83, of Albany, GA, died June 21, 2014 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Graveside funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00 PM at Riverside Cemetery. Rev. Billy Hanna will officiate.
A native of Asheville, NC, Mr. Felmet graduated from Lee-Edwards High School. He moved to Albany, GA in 1952 after serving in Korea the United States Air Force and was stationed at Turner Field.
Mr. Felmet attended Darton College and retired in 1999 from Proctor and Gamble where he was a mechanical designer. He was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church and was a member of the K & K Sunday School Class.
Survivors include his wife of 59 1/2 years, Edna Felmet, a son, Stephen Felmet and a daughter and her husband, Suzette and David Todd, all of Albany, GA, a brother and his wife, Don and Barbara Felmet of Asheville, NC, a sister, Susie Hinman of Kokomo, IN and four granddaughters, Kari Todd, Kelly Todd, Kenzie Todd and Kalah Todd all of Albany, GA.
The family will receive friends at their residence and after the graveside service.
