Frances Marie Riley Parker, 74, Albany, GA, died Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 31, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Liberty Parkway Church of God. Rev. Pastor Ralph Horne, Sr. will officiate. Interment will follow in Leesburg Cemetery.
A native of Omega, GA, Mrs. Parker had lived most of her life in Albany, GA. She was retired from Flint River Textiles and was a member of Liberty Parkway Church of God. Mrs. Parker was preceded in death by her husband, William Max Riley, two sons, James Norman Parker and Danny Ray Parker, four brothers, William Duckworth, Cecil Duckworth, Julian Duckworth and Henry James.
Survivors include two daughters, Bonnie Marshall (Bill) of Douglas, GA and Barbara Lee (Phillip) of Cairo, GA, two sons, Randall Parker (Vivian) of Douglas, GA and Kenneth Parker (Regina) of Leesburg, GA, three sisters, Jewell McCarty of Albany, GA, Sandra Hammond of Albany, GA and Helen Weldon of Palmetto, FL, a brother Elton Duckworth of Albany, GA, twenty grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.
