Frances Barfield Jett

Frances Barfield Jett died peacefully at her home in Graves, Georgia on Saturday, October 8, 2022. A Memorial Service will be held at Graves United Methodist Church in Dawson, GA on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at 3:00 pm.

Frances was born March 17, 1934, the daughter of Tom and Margaret Barfield of Graves, GA. She attended Terrell County High School and later Georgia Southwestern College. She was a dedicated Military wife and retired to Graves where she was active in civic and church activities.

Survivors include her husband, Bill Jordan of Graves, her sons, Terry (Sandra) Jett and Tim (Ondria) Jett, four grandchildren, Nick Jett, Andi Jett Ballentine, Caroline Jett, Samantha Jett, great granddaughter, Zoe Ballantine, sisters, Lois Johnson, Betty Houston, and brother, Roger Barfield. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Seybron Jett and brother, Tommy Barfield.
