Frances Louise Fulkerson

Frances Horne Fulkerson, 79, of Leesburg, GA formerly of Albany, GA, died Thursday, July 26, 2012 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:00 AM at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Bobby Moye will officiate. Interment will follow in Leesburg Cemetery.

A native of Doerun, GA, Mrs. Fulkerson had resided in Albany and Leesburg for the past sixty five years. She was a retired bookkeeper with Volkswagen of Albany and was of the Catholic Faith. Mrs. Fulkerson was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Henry Fulkerson, a sister, Lillian Eller and a brother, James Mayo Horne.

Survivors include three daughters, Teresa Holmes and her husband, Danny of Leesburg, GA, Patricia Bailey of Bronwood, GA, Barbara Johanson and her husband, Dan of Colorado Springs, CO, a son, Joseph Henry Fulkerson,Jr. and his wife Pam of Melbourne, FL, a sister, Ann Orth of St. Cloud, MN eight grandchildren, Tricia Quinn and her husband, Jim, Terri McDuffie and husband Richard, Michelle Moreland and husband, Stacy all of Leesburg, GA, Michael Bailey and his wife Cherie of Albany, GA, Andrea Johanson and Ariel Johanson and her husband, Brandon Prouty of Colorado Springs, CO and Christopher and Jeremy Lord of Melbourne, FL, thirteen great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home.

The family will be at the home of Teresa and Danny Holmes, 601 Creekside Drive, Leesburg, GA.
