Fortunato Inandan, 95, of Albany, GA., died Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Phoebe North Hospital. Mr. Inandan will be cremated and no services will be held at this time. A native of Rosario, Batangas, Philippines, he worked briefly in Fussell's Farms, and Albany Housing Authority.
Before he migrated to the US, he spent his work years in community development, both in Batangas province and in South Vietnam. He was a graduate of Franciso Law School, did post-graduate courses in UCLA Berkeley, and in University of Manchester, England.
He enjoyed learning, reading, traveling, singing, dancing, and talking with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Vivian Inandan, of Albany, Ga, sons Benjjamin Bagsit and Ivan Inandan. Survivors also include his children: Verna (Travis Donnelly), Annie Roy, Elvie (Jessie DeVeyra), Selda (Tony Adelantar), Em (Ding Maderazo), Pastor Ito (Melody), Albert/Bod (Karen), Lisa (Bernard Deveyra).
His grandchildren will miss him greatly: Michael Hudgins (Kylie), Eric De Veyra (Haydee), Frances Ilagan (Rico), Joaz DeVeyra (Vhaya), Joe Adelantar (Sean), Lareina, Joel, Larissa Leonardo (Ian), Paulo Maderazo (Tey), Carlo Maderazo (Eseng), Bianca Bonifacio (Jon), Karina Ann Holland (Tom), Alexis, Red, Nicole Vilela (Jonas), Michaela, Deniese Agbing (Jeff), Sherree Anne. Mr Inandan's sibling are Emilio Inandan, Evangeline Trinidad and Salvacion Inandan.
Great-grandchildren who brought him so much joy are: Kevin, Hadley, Jude, Abiel, Ylias, Louese, Yokim, Zach, Teo, Julius, Lily, Vonna, Josiah, Katherine, Elan, Austin, Jaxon, Izzie, Caleb, Chloe, Eli, Ethan, Olivia, and Reese.
He was a member of Providence Church in Albany, Ga and JA1 Church in the Philippines.
His remains will be transported to the Philippines and internment will be held in Rosario, Batangas .
