Floyd Stephen ""Steve"" Webb

Floyd Stephen "Steve" Webb, 67, of Leesburg, GA, died April 25, 2017 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Memorial services will be held Saturday at 2:00 PM at the Refuge Church. Rev. Bobby Brooks will officiate.

A native of Albany, GA, born to the late Floyd Martin Webb and Lou Ellen Clark, Steve lived in Albany all of his life before moving to Lee County earlier this year. He served his country in Vietnam in the United States Army and received the Bronze Star. Steve was employed with Firestone Tire and Rubber Company and Ayers Corporation. He was a member of Sunnyside Baptist Church and the American Legion Post # 30. He was an outdoorsman, loved to fish and hunt and build things.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Smith Webb of Lee County, GA, two children, J.R. Webb of Albany, GA and Kristy Wood and her husband, Jeff of Lee County, GA, his siblings, Marsha Lazenby and her husband, Tom, Martha Sue Stevens and her husband, Bobby, Dennis Baggett and his wife, Debbie and Louie Baggett all of Albany, GA and three grandchildren, Tyler Swift and Haylee Swift both of Lee County, GA and Landon Webb of Fitzgerald, GA.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM before the service at Refuge Church.

The family is at the residence of Kristy and Jeff Wood, 112 Alder Drive, Leesburg, GA, 31763.
