Floyd L. Etheridge

Floyd L. Etheridge, 83, of Albany, GA, died December 5, 2016 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday, December 8, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery. Rev. Bobby Moye will officiate. The United States Army Honor Guard will provide Military Honors.

A native of Colquitt County, GA, Mr. Etheridge was born to the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Etheridge. He grew up at Norman Park, GA and enlisted in the United States Army, serving for twenty years including a tour of duty in Vietnam. After his retirement, Mr. Etheridge moved to Albany, GA in 1970 and was employed with Proctor and Gamble for twenty years until his retirement.

Survivors include his wife, Gladys S. Etheridge, three children, Lorelle Haddock and her husband, James, Lyndal McMillin and Larry Etheridge and his wife, Mary Ann, three step-children, Bill Grimes , Joey Snider and his fiancee, Sharon Bonner and Dennis Snider and his wife, Debbie, two sisters, Annie Rose DeMaio and Edna Jenkins, his grandchildren, Erin Haddock, Derek Haddock, Justin McMillin and his wife, Melissa, Nicole Warren and her husband, Josh, Bradley Beheeler, Haley Etheridge, Hannah Etheridge, Allison Snider and Ashley Alvarado. He was preceded in death by his step-daughter, Brenda Grimes.

Visitation will be held from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM before the service at Mathews Funeral Home.
