Floyce D. Griffin

Floyce D. Griffin, 93, of Albany, GA, died Thursday, July 26, 2012 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00 PM at Westview Baptist Church. Rev. Bobby Moye will officiate. Interment will follow in Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery. Her grandsons will serve as active pallbearers.

A native of Troy, AL, Mrs. Griffin had resided in Albany, GA since 1953. She was a Baker and was employed with Morrison's Cafeteria and worked for many years with her family at Kinney's Restaurant on Oglethorpe Blvd. Mrs. Griffin was a faithful member of Westview Baptist Church.

Survivors include her children, Leslie K. Kinney (Martha) of Americus, GA, Sue K. Langlois (Dave) of Jacksonville, FL, Robert M. Kinney (Kim) of Leesburg, GA and Hilary W. Kinney of Leesburg, GA, her grandchildren, Keith Kinney (Tammy) of Collinsville, MS, Elizabeth K. Davis (Terry) of Collinsville, MS, Kevin Kinney (Sally) of Leesburg, GA, Buck Kinney (Beth) of Americus, GA, David Langlois of Atlanta, GA, Pam L. Roberts of Jacksonville, FL, Kristi K. Leger (Bobby) of Tallahassee, FL, Robbie Kinney (Allison) of Tallahassee, FL, Michael Fleming (Bailey) of Zebulon, GA and Stacie Roberts (Terry) of Atlanta, GA, her step-grandchildren, Jessica Davis (Britt) of Nashville, TN, Michael Coston of Birmingham, AL and Casey Hightower of Leesburg, GA, thirteen great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM before the service at Westview Baptist Church.

The family is at the residence of Robert and Kim Kinney, 142 Nunnally Way, Leesburg, GA, 31763.
