Florence R. Sellers

Florence R. Sellers, 83, of Leesburg, GA, died September 24, 2013 at Willson Hospice House. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 AM at Lakeside Baptist Church. Rev. Ken Chancellor and Rev. Bobby Moye will officiate. Interment will follow in the Leesburg City Cemetery.

A native of Baker County, GA, born to the late Claudie and Sarah Irvin Rhodes, Mrs. Sellers had resided in Leesburg, GA since 1960. She was employed with Coats and Clark for twenty three years and was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church. Mrs. Sellers was preceded in death by her husbands, Oliver T. Parker and James Sellers.

Survivors include two daughters, Sara Rich and her husband, Bewey and Esther Griffith all of Leesburg, GA, a son and his wife, James C. and Alicia Parker of Cordele, GA, three sisters, Juanita Parker of Newton, GA, Gladys McDaniel, and Grace Davis both of Leesburg, GA, two brothers and their wives, Grady and Dorothy Rhodes of Leesburg, GA and Charles and Claudia Rhodes of Kennesaw, GA, eight grandchildren, Rodney J. Cannon, Clay Griffith and Jay Griffith and his wife, Nikki all of Leesburg, GA, Amy Byrd and her husband, Mark of Bonaire, GA, Blair Parker, Carol Scholar and her husband, Eddie all of Leesburg, GA, Eddie Epperson and his wife Kelly, of Montgomery, TX and Ronnie Rich and his wife, Wanda of Leesburg, GA and eight great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday at Mathews Funeral Home.

The family will be at the residence of Mrs. Sellers, 1399 U.S. Highway South, Leesburg, GA, 31763.
