Flora Jean Summerlin

Flora Jean Summerlin, 70, of Lee County, GA died May 23, 2016 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM at Byne Memorial Baptist Church. Rev. Charlie Brown will officiate. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery.

A native of Albany, GA, born to the late Harold and Flora McMillan, Jean graduated from Albany High School in 1963 and attended Albany Technical College. She was a homemaker and a member of Byne Memorial Baptist Church and the Unity Sunday School Class. Jean was preceded in death by a sister, Dr. Patricia McMillan Walls.

Survivors include her husband, Fred Summerlin of Lee County, GA, a son and his wife, Aubrey and Elysia and three grandchildren, Rachel Summerlin, Lily Summerlin and Emma Summerlin all of Denver, CO.

The family will receive friends one hour before the funeral at Byne Memorial Baptist Church.
