Fay Lillian Payne

Fay L. Payne, 91 of Lee Co. GA died Thursday, December 12, 2013 at her residence. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2:00 PM at Andersonville National Cemetery. Rev. Charles Jones will officiate.

A native of Tulsa, OK, Mrs. Payne had resided in Leesburg since 1958 moving from Savannah, GA. She was an art teacher at Doughty Junior High School and had also been employed with Turner Job Corps. Mrs. Payne was a member of Leesburg United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Payne.

Survivors include her daughter, Teresa Chapman and her husband Bill of Leesburg, GA, two sons, William J. Payne and his wife, Brenda of Enterprise, AL and Robert L. Payne, Jr. and his wife, Candy of Campobello, SC and many grandchildren.
