Fannie Hunter Cooper Prosser, 91, of Albany, GA died Monday, April 21, 2014 at Palmyra Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Chip Gresham will officiate. Interment will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.

A native of Lancaster, SC, Mrs. Prosser had resided in Albany, GA since 1994 moving from McCall, SC. She was retired from Springs Mill in Lancaster, SC and was a member of Springdale Baptist Church. Mrs. Prosser moved to Albany, GA in 1994 to be closer to her children and attended Calvary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Wilburt O. Cooper and Earl M. Prosser, and a great-grandchild, Bill Donahoo.

Survivors include a daughter and her husband, Rose and Kenneth Usher, two sons, Donald O'Neil Cooper and his wife, Linda and Jimmy Allen Cooper and his wife, Brenda all of Albany, GA, eight grandchildren, Michael Cooper and his wife, Lorna, Steve Cooper and his wife, Dawn, Tonya Phillips and her husband, Dewey, Teresa Sirmons and her husband, Johnny, Marty Cooper and his wife, Jamie, Marc Cooper and Charlie Cooper all of Albany, GA and Cindy Donahoo and her husband, Frank of Newnan, GA, eight great-grandchildren, Britnie Carter and her husband, Justin, Donnie J. Lane, Mardi Zamora, Cole McConnell, Jackie Gomez and her husband, Gabriel, Summer Cooper and Devon Cooper all of Albany, GA and Aubrey Shaw and her husband, Daniel of Newnan, GA and eleven great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the funeral service at Mathews Funeral Home.
