Fannie Lue Chinell

Fannie Lue Chinell, 87, of Arabi, GA passed away Sunday, August 4, 2024, at her home. Fannie was born in Colquitt, GA. on August 21, 1936 to Harvey and Abbie Haire. Her remains have been cremated and she will be laid to rest next to her husband at Leesburg Cemetery.

Fannie moved to Albany, GA in 1972 coming from Atlanta, GA and moved to Lee County, GA in 1982. She was the mother of 8 children and she also worked many years as a caregiver. Fannie enjoyed spending time with family and playing cards. Fannie moved to Arabi, GA in 2015 to be close to family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Chinell, sister, Carrie Haire of Albany, GA. and three sons; Charlie Edward Chinell, Roger Dean Chinell and Donald Glynn Chinell. 

She is survived by her brother, Charlie Franklin (Mary) Haire, of Leesburg, GA, her son, Doyle Leo Chinell of Crestview, FL, four daughters; Vickie (Jim) Houston of Sherman, TX, Regina (Larry) Champion of Arabi, GA, Nancy (David) Collins of Albany, GA, and Carrie (Joe) Jenkins of Crestview, FL. Fannie has a host of Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren.
