Evelyn White Stewart

Evelyn White Stewart passed away Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, GA. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Sunday, April 26, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Riverside Cemetery. Rev. Roy Cook will officiate.

Evelyn was born May 16, 1924 in Bridgeboro, GA to the late Willie and Lonnie White. She was one of thirteen children. Evelyn married Henry Grady Stewart, Jr. on April 30, 1949, he preceded her in death on May 18, 2008. Evelyn was a member of Gillionville Baptist Church and an active member of the Friendship Sunday School Class.

Evelyn is survived by her three daughters, Donna Scozzari and Janice Bentley both of Albany, GA, Kay Musgrove (Jerry), Hoschton, GA, five grandchildren, Stephanie Najjar (Tony), Albany, GA, Harry Simmons (Vee Vee), Suwanee, GA, Jeremy Dollar, Albany, GA, Kyle Simmons (Antje), Berlin, Germany, Maison Davis (Chris), Perry, GA and three great-grandsons, Aiden Dollar, Clay Davis and Oliver Najjar, four sisters, Faye Rheaume, Waterford, CT, Willie Grace Cloutier, Inez Ragan and Edna Felmet all of Albany, GA.

The family will receive friends at Evelyn's residence.
