Evelyn Louise Harrell

Evelyn Louise Harrell, 96, of Albany, GA, died Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Pruitt Health Care in Sylvester, GA. Funeral services will be Monday, June 5, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Sunnyside Baptist Church. Rev. Bobby L. Harrell will officiate. Interment will follow at Liberty Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Born December 28, 1920 in Lauderdale County, MS, Mrs. Harrell had resided in Albany since 1955. She was a retired nurse, a member of Sunnyside Baptist Church, the Fidelis Sunday School Class, the Church Social Committee, and the Women's Missionary Union. She loved fishing and camping and was a member of Good Sam Camping Club. Mrs. Harrell was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Leslie Harrell and her sisters, Doris Smalanskis, Clydene Chisolm, and Bernice Curry.

Survivors include her two sons, Raymond Harrell (Linda), Doerun GA, Bobby Harrell (Lanelle), Clermont, FL, her four grandchildren, Ray Harrell, Palmdale, CA, Vickie Key, Doerun, GA, Kelly Sidoruk, Clermont, FL, Bryan Harrell, Duluth, GA, and two sisters, Merlene Hardy, Clinton, MS, and Janell Nelson, Tupelo, MS.

The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m. before the service at the church.
