Evelyn Collins Bruner, 97, of Albany, GA died Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Wynfield Park Health and Rehab. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Debbie Cone will officiate. Interment will follow in Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery. Born in Colomokee, GA, Mrs. Bruner had resided in Albany, GA all of her adult life. She was retired from Albany Lamp Service and Sales, was a member of Avalon United Methodist Church and preceded in death by her parents, Jasper Guy Collins and Mary Elizabeth Bowman Collins, husband, James E. Bruner, and a daughter, Wanda Bruner Andrews. Survivors include a son, Jimmy Bruner and his wife Pam, Albany, GA, a sister, Virginia Collins Willis, Colomokee, GA, son-in-law, Jack Andrews, Albany, GA, grandchildren, Claudia Bruner, Milledgeville, GA, James David Bruner, Decatur, GA, Laura Hutchison and her husband John, Raleigh, NC, David Andrews, Raleigh, NC, and great grandchildren, Erin Hutchison, Charlotte, NC, and Jackson Hutchison, Raleigh, NC. The family will receive friends Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at Mathews Funeral Home.
