Eva Collins Suggs

Eva Collins Suggs, 74 of Baconton Georgia, died Thursday July 20, 2017 at Regency Hospital in Macon, GA.

Her funeral service will be Monday 10:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Putney GA with interment in Mt. Enon Cemetery, Mitchell County, GA.  Rev. Danny Evans will officiate.

Born in Mitchell County, GA, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Westley Collins and Cecile Pauline Hurst Collins.  She was a member of First Baptist Church of Putney GA, and was retired from Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital  as a Security Guard.

She was preceded in death by her sisters Annie Wells, Iva Morey, Grace Collins and a brother, Sonny Collins.

Survivors include her husband R. W. (Bobby) Suggs, sons, Robert Wade (Robbie) Suggs, Jr., Baconton, GA, Timothy Scott (Scotty) Suggs, Acworth, GA, Richard Evan (Richie) Suggs (Candace), Mitchell County, GA, seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Sunday 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home.
