Eva Jane Simmons Feagin

Eva Jane Simmons Feagin, 76, of Albany, GA died Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at Lee County Health and Rehab. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Charlie Brown will officiate. Interment will follow in Harmony Church Cemetery, Meigs, GA.

Born in Seattle, WA, Mrs. Feagin had resided in Albany, Ga since 1953. She was retired from Byne Child Development Center in the three year old department and was a member of Byne Memorial Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Simmons and Doris Fay Toak Simmons, her husband, James N. Feagin, Jr. and a daughter, Mary Feagin Adams.

Survivors include a son, Donnie Feagin (Jane), Leesburg, GA, a daughter, Brenda L. Patrick, Albany, GA, five grandchildren, Daniel Mullis (Kristi), Tonya Mullis Smith (Jason), Derrick Mullis (Stephanie), Nolan Patrick (Dana), Justin Patrick (Ashley), seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.
