Eunice Agnes White

Eunice Brownlee White, 92 of Jacksonville, FL, formerly of Albany, GA died peacefully on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at Park Ridge Nursing Center, Jacksonville, FL, surrounded by her family.

Her funeral service will be Saturday, December 15th,  3 p.m at Mathews Funeral Home, 3206 Gillionville Rd, Albany, GA  with interment in Riverside Cemetery, Albany Georgia

Born on May 11, 1926 in Eufaula, AL, Mrs. White was a home maker, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband Grover Lee White and son Waymon White.  She never worked in the corporate world, but the title she was most proud of was that of “Nannie”.  From the first grandchild to the last great grandchild she loved them all and each one of them felt as if she was their “Nannie” alone.

Survivors include her daughters, Juanita W. Bowditch (Ray), Jacksonville, FL, Mary Ann Moody (A. Barry), Yulee, FL, Lereta Green (Robert), Mims, FL, sons, Charles R. White (Sharon), Jacksonville, FL, William White (Rubye Anne), Albany, GA grandchildren, Patricia Hortman (Matthew) Ocala, FL, Erin White, Livingston, MT,  Pamela Green, Titusville, FL, Richard Smart, Jr., Cocoa, FL, Jon Daryl White (Sandra), Cleveland, GA, Michele Lee (David), Yulee, FL, A. Barry Moody, Jr. (Deborah) Jacksonville, FL, Mary J. White, Buena Vista, Co, Barry L. White (Karen) Buena Vista, Co, and 12 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Mathews Funeral Home.
