Eunice Kimbrell Carter (Tincy), of West Palm Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2015 at home surrounded by her children. Funeral services will be held at Mathews Funeral Home in Albany, Georgia on Tuesday, June 2, 2015. Visitation will be held at 10:00 am with funeral services immediately following and burial at Floral Memory Gardens. Eunice's brother, Dorsey Kimbrell, will conduct the service.
Born on August 31, 1939, in Arlington, Georgia, she was the daughter of Paul and Vera Kimbrell. She married her husband of 42 years and then moved to Florida in 1972. She enjoyed collecting angel figurines, writing poetry and recently published her first book, Rightly So. She is preceded in death by her father and mother, husband William C. Carter Sr, sister Pauline Chatman and brother in law Paul Sellers.
She is survived by her loving family including six children: William C. Carter Jr, James Clark Phillips (Rosa), Sybrena Showers, Paul Richard Carter, John Frederick Carter (Krys), Judy Lynn Orbeta (Eric), nine grandchildren: Wesley Taylor, Dwayne Taylor, Megan Phillips, Ryan Windham, Kelsey Windham, Emerald Orbeta, Kayln Phillips, Kayla Carter and Kyle Carter, two great grandchildren: Lainey Taylor and Addison Taylor, and six brothers and sisters: J.C Kimbrell (Irma), Dorsey Kimbrell (Elizabeth), Mary Layman (Clyde), Ruth Whiting (Julian), Allen Kimbrell and Tracy Kimbrell.
