Eugenia Smith Sullivan

Eugenia Smith Sullivan, 90, of Albany, GA, died Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Ft. Gaines Nursing Home. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Bobby Moye will officiate. Interment will follow in Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Born in Orlando, Fl., Mrs. Sullivan had resided in Albany, GA since 1965. She was a retired nurse with Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, Past President of Division Two GA. Association of Licensed Practical Nurses and a member of Sunnyside Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, John P. Smith and Nannie Laura Walker Smith, her husband, Paul Sullivan, a sister, Annie Joe Messimer and a grandson, Scott Paul Sullivan.

Survivors include three daughters, Donna Jean Brooks, Ft. Gaines, GA, Penny Sue Collins, Baconton, GA and Roberta Louise Sullivan of Albany, GA, two sons, John Paul Sullivan and Robert Sullivan both of Albany, GA, a sister, Nan Dickey, Marietta, GA, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at Mathews Funeral Home.
