Eugene Harry Papa, Jr.

Eugene Harry Papa, Jr., 58, of Albany, GA passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 10:30 at Greenbriar Church (3404 Gillionville Rd., Albany, GA, 31721). Phillip Arnold will officiate.

Gene was born in Camden, NJ and was a general residental contractor. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Harry Papa and Nan McDonald and a granddaughter, Emma Sue Parker. He was of the Christian faith.

Gene was very loved. As the baby of the family, he was doted on and cared for lovingly by his parents and sisters. He grew into a young man and graduated from Deerfield Beach High School where he made lifelong friends that turned into family. He started a family of his own and created many fun and happy memories with his two daughters and son. He enjoyed training rottweilers and riding/owning motorcycles. He formed many great friendships throughout the years. Later in life, he was blessed with many grandchildren whom he spoiled and loved dearly.  

Survivors include his children,  Eugene H. Papa, Jr., (Mallory), Leesburg, GA,  Jennifer Parker(Joshua Walters), Wauchula, FL, Chelsea Botkin (Alan), Leesburg, GA, siblings, Rose Zaino, Pinehill, NJ, Bonni Atkinson, West Berlin, NJ, Douglas Griffith, Marlton, NJ, seven grandchildren, Timmy, Maddi, Owen, Paisley, Paige, Evan, and Christopher, nieces and a nephew, Casey, Erin and Matt.
