Eugene Horace Casey

Eugene Horace Casey, 75, of Albany, GA, died August 29, 2013 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Bud Womack will officiate. Interment will follow in Live Oak Free Will Baptist Cemetery in Baker County, GA.

A native of Baker County, GA, he was born to the late Joe and Ona Casey. Mr. Casey graduated from Baker County High School and served in the United States Army. He moved to Albany, GA in 1958 and was a self employed small appliance repairman. Mr. Casey was a member of Live Oak Free Will Baptist Church and was preceded in death by a daughter, Angela Ann Casey.

Survivors include his wife, Marie Fennell Casey of Albany, GA, three sons, Steve Casey (Jan) of Athens, GA, Joey Casey (Bridgett) of Americus, GA and Robert Carter of Albany, GA, three daughters, Debra Lee of Albany, GA, Donna (Steve) Scott of Albany, GA and Wanda (Steve) Kirkland of Americus, GA, twelve grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home
