Ernestine Ashley Goodman

Ernestine Ashley Goodman, 68, of Albany, GA passed away Thursday, November 13, 2014, at her residence after a battle with lung cancer. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Friday, November 14, 2014, at 3:00 p.m. at Mars Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Jackie Williams will officiate.

Born in Parrott, GA, Mrs. Goodman had resided in Edison, GA, a number of years before moving to Charlotte, NC, and she had resided in Albany, GA, for the past thirty-nine years. She was the former co-owner of VIP Detail and was preceded in death by her parents, Lester Alton Ashley and Lila Christine Jones Ashley and her husband William Samuel (Sammy) Goodman.

Survivors include her only son, Dennis Goodman, Albany, GA; and two brothers, Roy Ashley, Edison, GA and Ronnie Ashley, GA.
