Ernest M. "Trey" Rycroft, III

Ernest M. "Trey" Rycroft, III, 60, died Sunday, July 9, 2023 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, July 14, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Friendship Baptist Church, Leesburg, GA. Rev. Mark Spraggins will officiate. Interment will be at 3:00 p.m. at Lakeview Baptist Church Cemetery, Cobb, GA, 31735.

Born in Cordele, GA, Trey attended Lee County Schools and graduated from Lee County High School. He was very active with Dixie League baseball and coached baseball and football for the five to twelve year old. He was an electrician and formerly employed with Electrical Associates, he loved fishing and hunting and was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest M. Rycroft and Bonnie Eady Rycroft, and a brother, Chris Rycroft.

Survivors include his wife, Katie Pearlman Rycroft, sons, Cameron Rycroft and Hunter Rycroft (Janie) all of Lee Co., GA , his brother, Eric A. Rycroft (Jamie), Tifton, GA and his grandchildren, Fisher Rycroft and Riverlynn Rycroft.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at Friendship Baptist Church, Leesburg, GA.
