Emily Jean Tomlinson Brown, 84, of Americus, GA formerly of Albany, GA, died Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Edward Lambert and family members will officiate.

Born in Bainbridge, GA, Mrs. Brown had resided in Albany for fifty plus years before moving to Americus, GA three years ago. She was a home maker and was a southern Baptist. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Arron Tomlinson and Ruth Brock Tomlinson, her husband, W. R. Brown, a sister and brother-in-law, Kathleen Owens and Jerry Owens and a brother, Lavon Tomlinson.

Survivors include a daughter, Martha J. Lambert (Edward), Morrisville, VA, two sons, William J. Jarvis, Leesburg, GA, Marnel J. Brown (Sherry), Newton, GA, three sisters, Janice Brodbeck Smith, Donalsonville, GA, Sandra Ellen McMillian (Leonard), Bainbridge, GA, Palestine Pearce (Leonard), Bainbridge, GA, one brother, James Tomlinson (Sue), Bainbridge, GA, sister-in-law, Evelyn Tomlinson, Albany, GA, three grandchildren, Amber Faith DeCarvalho, Stafford, VA, Heather Espenoza, Tampa, FL, Michael Brown (Jessica), Monticello, FL, four great-grandchildren, Trey Supercynzki,, Stafford, VA, Zoe DeCarvalho, Stafford, VA, Juliana Espenoza, Tampa, FL, Lynlei Brown, Monticello, FL.
