Ella Catherine Sizemore

Ella Catherine Sizemore, 76, of Thomasville, GA formerly of Albany, GA, died Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at Golden Living Center in Thomasville, GA. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Donnie G. Nix will officiate. Interment will follow in Thundering Springs Cemetery.

Born in Rochelle, GA, Mrs. Sizemore had resided in the Albany/Leesburg, GA area most all of her life. She worked for many years at Coats and Clark, and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Alfred Burch and Nettie Holmes Burch, her husband, Johnnie Grady Sizemore, Sr., a son, Johnny Grady Sizemore, Jr., two daughters, Audrey Sizemore, Mildred Sizemore, three sisters, Elnora Williams, Frances McDonald and Betty Downs.

Survivors include two daughters, Julie Whiting (Jerry), Pelham, GA, Marion Abney, Baconton, GA, a brother, Jimmy Lee Burch, Augusta, GA, two grandchildren, Katrina Dillow (Josh), Cairo, GA, Ami Catherine Sizemore, Pelham, GA and seven great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at Mathews Funeral Home.
