Elizabeth Ann Wiehrs "Liz"

Elizabeth Ann Wiehrs “Liz”, 63, of Albany, GA., died Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. The family will receive friends Monday, April 16, 2018 at Mathews Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Mrs. Wiehrs was born in Americus, GA., to Mr. Harrison Kemp Huggins and Mrs. Eddie Elizabeth Horne. She worked as a secretary and warehouse manager at Engineering and Equipment Company for many years. Mrs. Wiehrs treasured the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and canoeing. She loved music and had a passion for animals. Mrs. Wiehrs was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Johnny Huggins.

Survivors include her son Kemp Wiehrs and his wife Wendy, a brother Eddie Huggins and his wife Pauline all of Albany and her constant companion, her cat Lucky.
