Elizabeth Florrie Osborne Studdard, 80, of Americus, GA formerly of Lee County, GA, died February 14, 2021 at Magnolia Manor Nursing Center. Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday at 3:00 PM at Riverside Cemetery. Rev. Mike Whiddon will officiate.
Mrs. Studdard was born on April 8, 1940 in Lyons, GA to Boss T. and Kathryn Osborne. She lived in Wilmington, NC with her family until they moved to Albany, GA in 1952. Mrs. Studdard graduated from Albany High School in 1958 and received her Bachelor of Nursing from Georgia Baptist College in 1961.
She was employed with Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital as a nurse for twenty eight years. Mrs. Studdard was a member of The First Baptist Church of Leesburg. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Cole T Lentz and her husband, Henry A. Studdard, Jr.
Survivors include her children, Kyle (Melanie) Lentz of Leesburg, GA, Loren (Teresa) Lentz of Bronwood, GA, step daughter Haley Mims (Vance) of Leesburg, step son Hank Studdard (Anita) of Cumming, Ga, a sister, Dorothy Lewis of Wilmington, NC, her grandchildren, Raegan Lentz (fiancé Zane Gordon) of Marietta, GA. , Brooke (Mitch) Bryant of Senoia, GA, step-grandchildren, Ally Mims of Lakeland, Fl, Scott Hand of Pensacola, FL and Brian Hand of Fairhope, AL and Two great- grandchildren Addison and Austin Bryant of Senoia, Ga.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:30 PM until 3:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home.
