Elizabeth “Marcie” Geeslin, 83, of Albany, GA, died May 11, 2018 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.  A private Entombment Service will be held Monday at 2:00 PM at the Crown Hill Cemetery Mausoleum.  Brandon Jones will officiate.

Mrs. Geeslin was native of Albany, GA, born on January 26, 1935 to the late Cleveland and Daisy Morris.  She graduated from Albany High School and married her late husband, Terry Frank Geeslin.  Mrs. Geeslin was employed with the DuPont Company and J.C. Penny where she was the Human Resources Representative and retired from the Custom Equipment Company.  She was a member of Byne Memorial Baptist Church, was currently attending Gillionville Baptist Church and was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.

Survivors include her daughters and their husbands, Deborah G. and Charles Swilley of Tallahassee, FL and Lisa and Jac Roth of Albany, GA, her son and his wife, Clay and Cyndi Geeslin of Lee County, GA, a sister, Jean Dees of Albany, GA, five grandchildren, Elizabeth Candido and her husband, Steve of Wilmette, IL, Parker Roth and his wife, Christi of Americus, GA, Brittney Hetland and her husband, Chris of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, Brooke Atkins and her husband, Brandon of Valdosta, GA and Chase Geeslin of Lee County, GA, seven great-grandchildren and two nephews, Ron Dees and Melvin Dees both of Albany, GA.

The family will receive friends Monday at Mathews Funeral Home from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in the name of Elizabeth Marcie Geeslin to the Sally Wetherbee Adoption Center, 2223 Dawson Road, Albany, GA 31707, or to the charity of your choice.
