Elizabeth (Betty) Grosek Krywicki, of Albany, GA died February 24, 2015 after a brief illness. She was a long time resident of Wilkes-Barre, PA who moved to Albany GA in 2012. Born June 23, 1922, she was the daughter of Josephine and Anthony Grosek, Sr. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Walter Krywicki in 1997. She had been a member of S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Plains, PA.

Elizabeth was a graduate of Plains Memorial High School and Wilkes-Barre Business College. She worked for Russell Thomas, accountant for many years and was employed by J. B. Wall Co. She was the past president of the Women's Dental Auxiliary and the past president of the Reymont Club. She was a volunteer for the American Heart Association and for Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre, PA.

She was one of seven children. She was preceded in death by her brothers Anthony Grosek, Jr and Edward Grosek and her sisters, Mary Grosek Kuc and Anne Grosek Maslow. She is survived by two sisters, Josephine Grosek Woznitski, Lititz, PA and Margaret Grosek Donell, Rosindale, MA, three children Dr. William Krywicki, (Nancie) Shavertown, PA, Dr. Robert Krywicki, (Ruth) Albany GA, and Barbara Krywicki, Dallas, PA, seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements will be private. A memorial service celebrating her life is planned for early June. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Heart Association or to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital Foundation (Albany, GA) are graciously requested.
