Elaine Alfieri Dettore

Elaine Alfieri Dettore, 78 of Albany, GA, died Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at her residence.  Funeral services will be held Friday, June 24, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Mathews Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Andersonville National Cemetery.  Ross Powell will officiate.  The family will receive friends Friday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the funeral home.

Mrs. Dettore was born June 21, 1944 in Albany, GA, daughter of the late Frank Alfieri and Eloise Lofton Alfieri.  She was a homemaker and she enjoyed decorating her home.  She loved fashion and reading.  She loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren.  Other than her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother Ronald Alfieri.

She is survived by her husband Lawrence “Larry” Dettore of Albany, GA. sons Joseph Dettore (Leslie Long) of Leesburg, GA and Vincent Dettore (Leslie Holt) of St. Simons Island, GA.  two sisters Janice Wood and Kim Basko both of Leesburg, GA and four grandchildren Heather Dettore Bueker(Chase) and Hillary Dettore Horne(Ryan) both of Atlanta, GA and Andrew Dettore and Martha Dettore both of Leesburg, GA.
