Edwina Christie Gill

Edwina Christie Gill went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 10, 2022.

Her services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, November 13, 2022 at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Dawson.  Brother Dick Gill and Brother Raymond Smith will officiate. 

Edwina Gill was a lifelong resident of Terrell County.  She was born to the late Herschel W. and Frances Dean Christie on December 3, 1951.  Edwina had been employed by the Bank of Dawson and the USDA Peanut Lab.  She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.  She loved to spend time outdoors tending to her flowers, but more than anything, she loved to serve others.  Through various missions, Edwina was always ready to lend a helping hand. 

Survivors include her husband Richard “Dick” Gill, son Mark Gill (Renee), daughter Kimberly Gill-Westbrook (Jason), grandchildren, Marcus Gill (Savannah), Becky Gill, Cliff Gill, Christie Gill, Smoke (furbaby) Westbook, great grandchildren, Elijah and Clay, sister, Barbara Roberts (Rob).
