Edwin (Ed) B. Harris

Edwin B. (Ed) Harris, 85, of Lee County, GA, died September 20, 2015 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Bobby Moye will officiate. Interment will follow in Kimball Methodist Church Cemetery.

A native of Worth County, GA, Mr. Harris served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He moved to Albany, GA as a young adult and resided there until moving to Lee County, GA in 1963. Mr. Harris was employed by Dougherty County as the Landfill Manager for eighteen years. He was of the Christian Faith.

Survivors include his wife, Agnes K. (Kitty) Harris, a daughter and her husband, Jane Harris Feagin and Donnie Feagin all of Lee County, GA, a granddaughter and her husband, Dora Jolly Boyd and Richard Boyd and their children, Cameron Boyd and Alexis Boyd all of Duluth, GA and nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends one hour before the funeral at Mathews Funeral Home.
