Edna Elizabeth Nix

Edna Elizabeth Toole Nix, 88, of Leesburg, GA, died Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Memorial services will be conducted at 10:00 am Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Jehovah's Witness Leesburg Century Congregation Kingdom Hall. Brother Jesse Driskell will officiate.

Born in Miller Co., GA, Mrs. Nix resided in Dougherty Co., GA from 1953 until moving to Leesburg, GA in 1973. She was a retired seamstress and was a member of the Jehovah's Witness Leesburg Century Congregation Kingdom Hall. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Frank Nix and a daughter, Teresa Hogge.

Survivors include three sons, David Nix (Andrea), Ponce de Leon, FL, Harold Nix (Evelyn), Americus, GA and Joel Nix (Rena), Albany, GA, a daughter, Shirley Palmer, Albany, GA, twenty grandchildren, forty great-grandchildren and eleven great-great-grandchildren.
