Mrs. Edith Langford McMillin, 90, of Albany, GA, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on December 26, 2017. No formal services are being planned but a memorial service will be held at a later date at Fort Gaines Presbyterian Church in Fort Gaines, Georgia. Mrs. McMillin was born in Bainbridge, GA but moved with her family to Albany at a young age where she attended school and graduated from Albany High School. For many years, she owned and managed the Merle Norman Cosmetic Studio. She was a member of the Fort Gaines Presbyterian Church. She was dearly loved by her family and will be sorely missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. James E. McMillin, of Albany, GA. She is survived by two daughters, Debbie Haley and her husband, John, and Ginger Crocker and her husband, Bill, all of Albany, GA; a son, Ken Johnson and his wife Diane of Kennesaw, GA; her grandchildren, Ivan Crocker and his wife Brooke, Meredith Ruiz and her husband Antonio, John Vann and his wife, Lauren, all of Thomasville, GA, and Sam Johnson and his fiance Emily Kuettner, both of Bentonville, AR; two great-granddaughters, Edie Crocker and Francis Crocker, both of Thomasville, GA. Also surviving are 2 sisters, Jeannette Cosey, Peachtree City, GA and Margaret Rowe, Albany, GA, a brother, William Langford, Dothan, AL and many nieces and nephews.
