Eddie Joe Watson, Sr

Eddie Joe Watson, Sr., 67, of Albany, GA., died Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Pruitt-Palmyra Nursing Home. No services will be held at this time.

A native of Albany, GA., Mr. Watson had resided in Albany most of his life. Eddie was a devoted family man, spending time with his family whom he loved very much. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed working in the yard. Mr. Watson was a hard worker and was employed with C.A. Brown Construction for over twenty years. He was preceded in death by a son Eddie Joe Watson, Jr.

Survivors include his wife, Letita Watson of Albany, GA., three sons Eddie D. Watson of Plant City, FL., Eric Watson and Evan Watson, both of Dougherty County, GA., his daughter, Kayla Watson of Richland, NC., two brothers, O.F. Salter and Harris Salter, both of Sylvester, GA., two sisters, Teresa Bennett and Mary Wyatt, both of Macon, GA., nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
