Edd Jones Lisenby

Edd J. Lisenby, 83, of Leesburg, GA, died Friday, May 23, 2014 at his residence. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Sunday, May 25, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Leesburg Cemetery. Rev. Wesley Croft will officiate.

Born in Blakely, GA, Mr. Lisenby had resided in Leesburg, GA for the past forty years moving from Dougherty Co., GA. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the Army. He was retired from Proctor and Gamble and was a member of the Leesburg First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Rachel Lisenby, Leesburg, GA, three sons, Eddie Lisenby (Carol), Leesburg, GA, Rodney Lisenby (Janet), Pensacola, FL., Lamar Lisenby, Leesburg, GA, a daughter, Lamanda Croft (Harold), Leesburg, GA, a sister, Maurine Fincher, Blakely, GA., five grandchildren, Rev. Wesley Croft, Mandy Roberts, Jessica Dunlap, Megan Lisenby, Brandon Lisenby and five great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 at Mathews Funeral Home.
