Ed Stevens Williams, Sr., 70, of Dawson, GA died Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at his residence. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Friday, March 3, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Dawson, GA. Rev. David W. Unkles will officiate.

Born in Atlanta, GA, Mr. Williams had resided in Dawson, GA all of his life. He was formerly employed with Stevens Industries. He was a member of the Dawson First United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Matthew Edge Williams, Sr.

Survivors include his wife, Charlene Sapp Williams, Dawson, GA, a son, Ed Steven (Steve) Williams, Jr., his mother, Elizabeth Stevens Williams Welch and a brother, Matthew Williams (Rosa) all of Atlanta, GA, two sisters, Carol Williams Caldwell (Jim), Atlanta, GA and Betty Williams Brewer (Conrad), Penscacola, FL.
