Dreka Sanders Clegg

Dreka Sanders Clegg, 93, of Dougherty County, GA died May 28, 2018 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Tim Olds will officiate. Interment will follow in Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery.

A native of Mitchell Co., GA, Mrs. Clegg was born to the late Alex and Annice Godwin, she was employed with Pearle Optical and retired with Sears Optical. Mrs. Clegg was a former member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and joined Covenant Presbyterian Church after its closing.. She was preceded in death by her brother, Steve J. Godwin, her sisters, Ann Simpson, Ophelia Davis and Pearl McGrail and a step-son, Donald Hayward Clegg.

Survivors include her husband, Robert James (Jimmy) Clegg of Dougherty County, GA, three sisters, June Hudson of Clearwater, FL, Nadine Faircloth of Pelham, GA and Penny Williams of McDade, FL, a step-daughter, Melissa McAdams of Roswell, GA, a step-great-granddaughter, Emily Raines McAdams, Roswell, GA and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends one hour before the funeral at Mathews Funeral Home.
