Dorothy Kate Whittle Sizemore

The graveside funeral service of Dorothy Kate Whittle Sizemore, 79, of Albany, GA, who died Sunday, April 17, 2011 at Palmyra Medical Center, will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery. Rev. Tom Pollock and Mr. Ross Powell will officiate.



A native of Monticello, FL, Mrs. Sizemore had resided in Albany, GA since 1955. He was a retired school teacher with the Dougherty County School System primarily teaching the fifth grade. She was a member of the Home Connection Sunday School Class and Sherwood Baptist Church.



Survivors include a sister, Shirley Whittle Ashburn, Crawfordville, FL, two brothers, Leslie Manford Whittle, Jr. and Hugh Lee Whittle both of Tallahassee, FL.

The family received friends Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.
