Dorothy Aileen Wilson Jacks

Dorothy "Aileen" Wilson Jacks, 81, of Albany, GA, passed away Friday, November 7, 2014 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. The family will have a private Interment at Crown Hill Cemetery at a later date. Dr. Charlie Rouse will officiate.

Born in Morgan County, TN, Aileen moved to Albany from Gobey, TN with her husband in 1950. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. Mrs. Jacks was preceded in death by a daughter Karole Jan Stroud and her parents Clifford and Mamie Wilson.

Survivors include her husband Ben Jacks, Jr., three daughters Kay (Richard) Parker and Jill Ann (Joey) Coffey all of Albany, GA, and Sheryl (Donnie) Phillips of Leesburg, GA, eight grandchildren Paul Parker, Matthew Parker, and Ladonna Phillips Urick all of Albany, GA, Lacey Phillips Neil of Warner Robing, GA, Phillip Phillips and Brandi Stroud Hunter both of Leesburg, GA, Dianna Stroud Atkinson of Ashburn, GA, and Karole Lynn Stroud of Tifton, GA, a sister Shirley Wilson (Arthur) Jones of Oliver Springs, TN, and eight Great-Grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Sunday one hour prior to the service at Mathews Funeral Home.
