Dorothy Bryant Hamlin

Dorothy Bryant Hamlin, 92, of Parrott, died Thursday, August 24, 2017 at her residence.

Her funeral service will be Sunday 2 PM at Parrott City Cemetery.  Bishop Brad Gleeson, Rev. Chad Ellis and Rev. R. T. Beverly will officiate.

Born in Ft. Valley, GA, Mrs. Hamlin had resided in Parrott for the past 66 years.  She was a member of Preston Methodist Church and a former member of Mt. Olive Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Hamlin and a sister Liza B Preskitt.

Survivors include her daughter, Ann Hamlin Harvey (Wayne), Parrott; son, Richard Hamlin (Debbie), Preston; grandchildren, Lisa Jones (James), Americus, Tammy Mackey (Hill), Lee County, Kimberly Kennedy (Jeremy) Preston, Greg Hamlin (Julie) Preston, 17 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
