Dorothy Freeman Durbin

Dorothy Freeman Durbin, 86 of Albany, GA, died September 19, 2012 at her residence. Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM at Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery. Rev. Bobby Moye will officiate.

A native of Shellman, GA, born to Ed and Leila Mae Joiner, Mrs. Durbin graduated from Shellman High School and had resided in Albany since 1962. She retired from Spence Geiger Company as a bookkeeper and was formerly employed with Winn-Dixie where she was affectionately known as Miss Dot. Mrs. Durbin was a member of Sunnyside Baptist Church and the Golden Key Club at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

Survivors include a son, Ed Freeman of Albany, GA, a daughter, Carol Mueller of Concord, NC and two grandchildren, Richard Dulin of Huntersville, NC and Christy Dulin of Concord, NC and five grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home.
