Dorothy Geneva Doggett

Geneva Doggett of Doerun, GA., died Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at Phoebe Worth Medical Center. A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 9, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at Lighthouse Ministries. Rev. Chris Turner will officiate. 

Mrs. Doggett was born in Worth County, GA to the late Jesse and Bessie Yawn. She was a talented decorator and loved decorating. Mrs. Doggett decorated for many church events and many weddings. She was also talented in making ceramics. Mrs. Doggett played the organ for many years. She also loved flowers and enjoyed collecting dolls and bells. Mrs. Doggett was a member of Lighthouse Ministries. 

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Doggett, her son Robert Wayne Doggett, her sister, Retha Tyson and a brother, Grady Hall, Jr.

 Survivors include her son Ray Doggett, her grandson, Chris Doggett and Brandon Doggett (Celes), her great grandson, Zion Doggett, her siblings, Catherine Downs, James Hall (Angela) and Deborah Posey (Rocky) her nieces and nephews, Kara Hall, Marsha Leone, Rhonda Greenberg (Andy), April Morgan (Justin), Crystal Hillard (Johnny), Todd Shirley, Scott Smith (Donna) and numerous great nieces and nephews.
