Dorothea Lynn Gortman

Dorothea Lynn Gortman, 54, of Albany, GA, died May 4, 2017 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday at 3:00 PM at Providence Cemetery in Worth County, GA. Rev. Johnny Lewis will officiate. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM Saturday at New Bethel Free Will Baptist at 101 Oakland Heights Rd., Sylvester, GA.

A native of Pavo, GA, Dorothea had lived in Albany, GA for the past twenty years moving from Adel, GA. She was a member of Westside Baptist Church in Adel, GA. Dorothea was preceded in death by an infant child, Eric Lee Gortman.

Survivors include her parents, Robert and Janice Clanton of Sylvester, GA, two brothers, Rex Clements of Leesburg, GA and George (Karen) Clements of Sylvester, GA, Kathy Sue Clanton of Atlanta, GA, Sonya (Allen) Dillard and Kimbyla (Michael) Monk all of Adel, GA, Patricia Clanton of Leesburg, GA, Dee Dee (Randy) Dillard of Adel, GA and Wendy Hayes of Albany, GA and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family is at the residence of Robert and Janice Clanton, 311 Jody Lane, Sylvester, GA, 31791.
